The Four Star Mecenate Palace Hotel Rome is an elegant, luxury 19th century building just in front of the Basilica

Our panoramic roof garden, that looks over the Basilica and
other parts of Rome, offers an excellent way to get some unique views whether
enjoying our ample breakfast buffet, or even having a relaxing
evening cocktail. We
even organise an annual audience for when the Pope performs Corpus Domini in
front of St Maria Maggiore 60 days after Easter, with a direct view over
the historical procession.
The Terrazza dei Papi can also be used for private parties,
wedding receptions and other events and our catering staff can prepare Italian
or International cuisine upon request. Our meeting room can
host groups of around fifty and is equipped with all modern facilities for
